In our colt starting program, horses are exposed to everything and anything we can think of including bags and tarps, water crossing, trails, indoor and outdoor arenas, cows, ropes....etc... 60 days is recommended on colts as at 30 days they are still considered "green".
Horses are rode on a 5 day/week basis as they need rest just like we do. Horses are properly cared for and recieve supplements, salt, Hoffman's Horse Mineral and good quality hay while in training. To save on board or to avoid switching your horse's diet, clients can bring their own feed.
Farrier/worming/vetrinary fees are at owners expense.
